Down Boys

Down Boys is the debut single by American glam metal band Warrant. The single was released in 1989 from Warrant's debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. The song charted at #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #13 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.^[1] The song also charted at #50 on the New Zealand charts.

Down Boys which also became the bands nick name featured a music video and the song was also re-visited by the band in 1999 on their Greatest & Latest album.

Review

The song has been described as "one of the toughest, heaviest songs in [Warrant's] catalog, and certainly at the top of both categories in terms of their hit singles."^[2]
